No, we do not. However, we can give you a bill to submit to insurance for reimbursement for your fee, they normally apply this to your deductible. This method keeps the insurance company from directing and having control over your treatment.
What should you consider when using insurance for mental health?
When you use insurance to pay for mental health, the insurance company gets to decide what type of treatment and how many sessions you get based on their standards rather than what may be best for you. Some have experienced higher healthcare premiums due to insurance requiring you to be diagnosed with a mental health disorder to receive treatment. Also, those that pay for their counseling normally experience better results due to having more financial investment in counseling. This is not to dissuade you from using insurance or finding a counselor that takes insurance, solely information for you to consider while making your decision.

Does counseling work?
This is by far our most asked question, especially with marriage counseling, and the answer is yes. For counseling to work you must put forth effort and make changes. The only time counseling does not work is when a person hopes that venting about their challenges will make them better. Only making the changes and pushing forward will yield the results you desire.
Who will know about our counseling sessions?
Similar to a doctor’s office, only those you consent to on the release form will know about the sessions. Your confidentiality is important to us, and we will always make that a priority. Another reason we do not accept insurance is that insurance companies can legally demand we break your confidentiality to provide them with information about sessions.
