Do we take your insurance?

We are an out of network provider, so we do not directly accept insurance reimbursement. If you choose to use your insurance and want to use our services, you can do so if you have out of network benefits, which most plans do have. 

Why don't you take my insurance?

I am required to give you a mental health diagnosis to use insurance benefits.

That diagnosis can affect employment and future premiums and coverage since it is considered part of your medical records.

Insurance does not pay for specialization in mental health. This means many that specialize in treating certain conditions, like trauma therapy, do so outside of insurance. 

Choosing to use your insurance benefits is a personal decision and we understand those that choose to go with an in-network provider instead.
